Lovely Edwardian (1901-1915) seed pearl and garnet drop pendant made in 10k yellow gold and features a beautifully stylized maple leaf at the center of a heart set with seed pearls.
With the changing necklines in women's fashion C.1910 we saw a decline in pins and brooches and a rise in popularity in necklaces. Delicate pendants, sautoirs and other long necklaces became all the rage as the focus was now on the neckline.
Garnet: One (1) bezel set, round faceted red garnet measuring approximately 3.62 mm in diameter.
Seed Pearls: Twelve (12) bezel and gypsy set, round seed pearls measuring approximately from 0.8 to 1.7 mm each in diameter.
