In the penguin world, it is in fact the father that incubates the egg - while the mother hunts for food. With the egg carefully protected under them - they remain like that for months waiting for the egg to hatch - not even leaving to eat. Which would explain this dotting father and his chick. Both adorned in pavé set diamonds with south sea pearl bellies, this brooch is looking for its forever home.
