Hailing from the Edwardian era is this absolutely stunning antique hand-made opal and diamond pendant arrayed with over 5.73ct of scintillating and sparkling near-colorless diamonds. Center opal is a kaleidoscope of color creating a spellbinding display from every angle. This gorgeous pendant/brooch is handmade in 18k yellow and platinum. Very fine.
There are a total of twenty-four (24) prong, bezel, and pavé set Old European and old mine cut diamonds in this pendant.
Thirteen (13) old European cut diamonds. The five biggest with weights of 0.84ct, 0.75ct, 0.64ct, 0.47ct and 0.47ct., total estimated weight is 3.17 ct.
Eight (8) old mine cut diamonds measuring approximately from 2.1-2.7mm in diameter each, estimated total weight 0.40 ct.
All diamonds in pendant have an estimated VVS/VS clarity and E/F/G color. Total estimated 5.73ct diamond weight.
Opal: One (1) bezel and prong set, oval cabochon cut white opal measuring approximately 7.9 mm (H) x 6.04 mm (W) x 4.70 mm (D). Opal displays fiery red, blue and green play-of-color.
