A magnificent piece of French craftsmanship from the 1950's. This Rose 'En Tremblant' has 18k moving mesh petals on hinges with four (4) different inserts set with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. The piece is in spectacular condition with all moving parts working very well.
A beautiful brushed gold finish of the wings and the play-of-colour of the opals accentuate the center 0.62 ct emerald. The 'tremble' effect gives the semblance of fluttering wings when the piece is in motion. A hand made piece estimated to be circa 1940-1950.
