Canadian Native Cultures and Traditions Jewellery Series Haida coin medal pendant by Roger Lucas.
The original 1997 coin features the Haida legend of 'Raven Bringing Light to the World'. Canadian jewellery designer Roger Lucas took inspiration from the Native Cultures and Traditions series to create a line of Royal Canadian Mint jewelry. Lucas fashioned his jewellery pieces both from the actual 22-karat gold coins, and from smaller 99.99% pure silver, 99.95% pure platinum, and 24-karat gold metals that recreate the art of the coins.
The piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
