Signed David-Andersen sterling silver and enamel pansy brooch. C.1950's.
Founded in 1876 David-Andersen founded his own silverware and jewelry company in Oslo, Norway. Known for his craftsmanship, from the beginning experimented with enamel decoration and modernist designs. The company gained international recognition when they won two gold medals at the World Exhibition in 1900.
