Lovely Edwardian (1901-1915) seed pearl and garnet drop lavalier pendant made in 10k yellow gold and features a beautifully stylized maple leaf at the center of a heart set with seed pearls. 

With the changing necklines in women's fashion C.1910 we saw a decline in pins and brooches and a rise in popularity in necklaces. Delicate pendants, sautoirs and other long necklaces became all the rage as the focus was now on the neckline.
