Since 1904 Georg Jensen's timeless Scandinavian designs have graced tables around the world. For over a century, Jensen has produced some of the finest objects in Scandinavian modern designs in silverware. Growing up close to forests and lakes just north of Copenhagen, nature was a primary source of inspiration. Fruits, blossoms, leaves, and organic shapes would be a constant thread throughout his designs. His obituary in the New York Herald Tribune hailed him has the greatest silversmith of the last 300 years – his legacy as a design innovator living on today.
The Acorn sterling cutlery pattern was designed in 1915 by, Johan Rohde and is a prime example of Jensen's organic and timeless design aesthetic and continues to be one of Jensen's most exclusive patterns.
