Winner of many prestigious awards, Walter Schluep is recognized worldwide for his contribution to the Modernist and Modern Art movement. Spending most of his life in Montreal Quebec, Walter Schluep worked alongside notable jewelers such as Gabriel Lucas, George Delrue, and Hans Gehrig while exhibiting extensively. Schluep's creative and culturally relevant works of art are becoming more and more sought after as more people are discovering the joy of owning and wearing a genuine piece from his collection.

Absolutely charming 18k yellow gold butterfly brooch with textured body and ruby eyes. Wings are ornamented in bright shades of red, blues, pink, coral, and purple done in the plique-à-jour (translucent enamel) technique. The articulated moving wings are so finely made that they are able to stand in place on their own. Our hearts fluttered when this special specimen flew into the store!
Singed 'Birks' and dates from the 1970's. Enamel work is in impeccable condition.

A magnificent piece of French craftsmanship from the 1950's. This Rose trembler ('En Tremblant') has 18k moving mesh petals on hinges with four (4) different inserts set with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. The piece is in spectacular condition with all moving parts working very well.
